First, here is a little information about our company. Neighborhood Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning has been in this community, locally owned, for over 62 years. We employ good people that are drug tested for your safety, and have criminal background checks. We have true 24-hour service, so when someone calls us at night, we will answer the phone. Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. This means that we will not collect a dime until you are completely satisfied with the job. So if we are not going to collect a dime until you are completely satisfied, how good of a job do you think we will do? Yes, a great one. We use a straight forward pricing guide that was designed to save you time and money. How we came up with the straight forward pricing guide was by breaking down over 25,000 jobs to come up with an average so that you get the job done at a fair price. This is a tremendous advantage for you. No matter how large or small the job is, it is quoted out of a pre-set guide before we do the work. No long will you have to watch the clock! This assures you that we do not increase the price in order to take a discount, creating an illusion of a discount. Also, when we enter your home, we will wear floor savers to avoid making any unnecessary messes. Giving to charity is important to us. Over the past 60 years, we have donated to local charity and events on a small scale. Previously we have donated to churches, Little League baseball, Special Olympics, cancer society, police functions, carnivals, fairs, community drives, Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts, and more……I even helped build a home with habitat for humanity. You name it, we have probably donated to it. In the past, when we had extra revenue, we would donate to charities. However, we, as well as many others, have cut back on donations. Why? Because we no longer have extra revenue to give to the charities, even though I know giving donations allows hope to someone who has no hope. It helps our kids stay out of trouble, and helps keep drugs off our streets. It even saves lives. It is a vital part of our community. The value far outweighs the cost. It is not our intention for charities to endorse our company, we just want to donate to them. On average, I know that every home will have a plumbing, heating, or air conditioning problem that will require professional repairs or replacement every 1.5 years. In most cases, I already work for a good portion of the people that are involved in your charity. Right now, we spend approximately $160,000 annually on advertising to encourage people to call us. The majority of these funds are spent on yellow pages, fliers, and radio ads. Regretfully, this money is being spent in place other than our own community. It goes to big conglomerates, CEO’s, and ultimately, investors abroad. Our goal is to keep this money in our community to help keep our local taxpayers employed, and to support our local charities. So if the advertising money we spend is only to encourage the local people in our community to call us, it seems that if I were to give that money to you, the money would remain in our community. I spend over 5% of my entire budget to encourage people to call me. Now how this Program works, is that you, or anyone, can sign up to receive a promotional code. When you, or any client calls Neighborhood to request service or replacement, we will donate 5% of your total invoice to your favorite charity or organization, in your name. I will e-mail the donation amount to the requested organization, and a copy to the client as well. The donation amount may vary, for example, let’s take a bathroom remodel of $5,000. This would be a $250 donation, and a direct “write off” for you. Much smaller items like a furnace cleaning and tune up could add up very quickly. These service or replacement calls range from $100 up to $25,000. The advantage of a donation versus a straight discount, is that the client receives a 5% discount, and the charity directly receives the money. Everyone wins! One church on the Program received over $2600 in donations so far, and it has been only 9 months. That same church will be receiving a check at the end June 2009 for $1311. As you can see, a large amount of sustainable donations can go on with no outlay of time, labor, or product on your charity’s part. Our goal is simple. We are not looking for a charity to endorse our company. We are not asking the charity to give a penny or be obligated to buy anything. We want your help to get the word out to your friends, family, and co-workers about our Program. By signing up, we are making a pledge that if you do any work with Neighborhood Plumbing, heating, and Air Conditioning, we will give 5% of the total invoice to your favorite charity or organization. So go ahead and sign up! We will send you a card in the mail with your preferred charity # on it. If your charity is not listed, please contact me. I will meet with your charity to help you. Thank you. If you have any questions, please call Scott at 320-251-7872 or 651-277-5050. |
