A competitor wanted $900 to repair the furnace and all that needed to be done was reroute a plastic drainage line. When Neighborhood came out to do the repair Make-A-Wish was installing a home theatre for our eleven year old daughter. She has had four open heart surgeries to date and many angioplasties and so on. Well, when neighborhood heard about this they donated their time and even helped me run ductwork into the home theatre room free. My wife and I where speechless. Earlier it came out in conversation that our daughter has allergies and the repairman began selling us on the idea of installing a ultra-violet polarized media filter system. We where thinking heavily on this when we got a call from Neighborhood informing us that they would be isntalling the new filter system for free. As if that wasn't enough, then they tell us they where going to clean all of our ducts as well. The filtration unit and installation was worth $1500, duct cleaning $560 and they saved us $900 in furnace repairs.
The air is so fresh and clean now. Our daughter hasn't shown any sign of allergy symptoms since the filter was isntalled, no more medicine head.
